Hello,

I didn't remember I selected somewhere in refresh clear cache section, and now my site is displaying html code on web browser.

<!DOCTYPE html> <html dir="ltr" lang="en"> <head> <meta charset="UTF-8" /> <title>Administration</title>......

Both Administration and User section are same.

How can I solve this error.

Many thanks,

Newbie

Clear your browser cache. Try with other browsers. Ensure your config.php and admin/config.php defined paths are properly configured with your storage folder. Ensure your storage folder is set to CHMOD 755 recursively from your host file manager console.

I guess you have deleted or add some extra code nearby "<!DOCTYPE html> <html dir="ltr" lang="en"> <head> <meta charset="UTF-8" /> <title>Administration</title>" ,find it and restore it to original code.

Thanks all,

It is running on XAMPP, Windows 10.
I remember that:
I have no changed in header file.
I only press buttons on top right to clear cached and refresh, after that I see that problem.

Thanks again

The issue is either with your custom theme or with your storage folder. The previous reply provides the steps on how to resolved this issue.

Thanks Straightlight,

I have tried to open html inspect and see one strange thing.

All html template content are in html, body tag. I feel this is very strange, because I open tamplate files but not found those html body tags.

I took a screenshot.

Ensure to save your files as UTF-8 in your local editor before uploading your files and that the files are uploaded in auto-mode where the auto-mode should automatically pick up TWIG files as text files and not as binary files. Then, clear out your cache from the OC admin.

Change "<!DOCTYPE html> with <!DOCTYPE html> on you header.twig

Also you can test with Default theme.

You have tested with Default theme? Same issue?

Maybe is an issue with XAMP. Try to upload on real hosting...

What errors are in Console?

My guess is its file encoding adding whitespace or special characters which is breaking the output. Open the header twig file with something like sublime or PHPStorm and check the encoding for your twig files. See if its UTF-8.

This is not META encoding, but the actual file encoding.

Backup and [ learn how to recover ] before you make any changes.

Thanks all,

I have tried top clear all html code in file my theme's home.twig and tried to add small code <html><body>hello</body></html> into home.twig
Result is same, html still output. I think Twig has problem, because i remember I changed in it to before I logged into admin to clear cache in top right.
Problem is I copied the Twig library (original) to site, but it was not affected.
