I can't get OC installed on my second computer (Win10) with a fresh database/OC install so I went back to my original computer (Win7) and am starting with a brand new database and directory and OC won't install there either. I've deleted the new databases on both computers and tried fresh installs twice with several different database names and it won't save.

The Pre-installation shows no error. What would cause OC to not install?

I am following this procedure using XAMPP:
https://www.appseconnect.com/how-to-ins ... ing-xampp/

Last week I had issues also but it finally installed when I did NOT use a User Name Password. Today I tried about everything can think of.

I am on two different computers.. Why won't this save? I just don't understand what I am doing wrong compared to all the videos and articles show how to do. ???

Here's the error at the top of the page:

Warning: mysqli::__construct(): (HY000/1045): Access denied for user 'kdslaby'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in C:\xampp\htdocs\baseline\system\library\db\mysqli.php on line 7Warning: DB\MySQLi::__construct(): Couldn't fetch mysqli in C:\xampp\htdocs\baseline\system\library\db\mysqli.php on line 10Warning: DB\MySQLi::__construct(): Couldn't fetch mysqli in C:\xampp\htdocs\baseline\system\library\db\mysqli.php on line 10Notice: Undefined variable: mysql in C:\xampp\htdocs\baseline\install\controller\install\step_3.php on line 280Notice: Trying to get property 'connect_error' of non-object in C:\xampp\htdocs\baseline\install\controller\install\step_3.php on line 280

Unfriggen believable! I come back an hour later and try it one more time on my 2nd computer out of pure desperation and it friggen installed right off the bat! The only thing I changed was the User Name, I left it as the default "root", which I've tried before with no luck.
Then I went to my first computer and using the same settings it too installed right off the bat.. I have no idea why waiting an hour or using root as the User Name made a difference but something did.
