They did change my storage\modification\catalog\view\theme\default\template\common\footer.twig
Nothing changed. The page is entirely unchanged.
*I did clear cache, refresh modifications and I even tried viewing it through another browser. No change.
**When I add information pages, they turn up in the footer. So, this feature works well.
Firstly, I found this:
it says, some theme data is cached in the database.
But then, it turns out, I can edit it manually by visiting
[my_site]?route=design/theme in admin pannel
I edited footer there and it worked.
Then I deleted it entirely and it started using my twig again!
Hope, I'm clear explaining these actions and it helps anyone else!
