OC 3.0.2.0
just over 100 orders on new client website but 2 (successful) orders have shown no products, no shipping, and value £0 in admin and customer account login (front-end).
Customer name, address etc remains.
However, customer confirmation and admin confirmation email list the correct products, shipping and order total. And stock levels are deducted correctly.
The 2 orders this issue happened with bot used sagepay direct so not sure if that's relevant as all other sagepay orders are correct.,

Does anyone have any experience with this products and shipping vanishing from customer orders?

Picture below shows the first order this happened with (checkout as guest) but the second order this happened with (customer has an account and previously order made before with sagepay) shows in account correctly. i cannot show screenshots of the second order with multiple products as we had to amend it anyway for customer satisfaction.

You really need to give us more information else no one can help you.

We need to know your OC version, list of all extensions you are using. Have you had any other custom work, how many times has this happened and how often or is this a one-off?

The thing is, this will not be OpenCart, it will be something custom you have that has caused this, your probably better off getting a developer to take a hard look and do some testing, because even with the above info... I doubt anyone can help you figure it out without investigating.

Yes, a very custom issue, no generic solution. You need a developer to solve this. I can look into it, if you wish.

why don't you first check if the products are still in the order_products table?

Well, if you guys are so eager to assist, why not rewrite those OC DB functions where instead of updates, OC does deletes with subsequent inserts.
This is inherently dangerous, especially where orders are concerned, if any disruption occurs between deletion and insertion, your records are gone.
That might have happened to this poor fellow.
OC should either use proper update sql statements or at least logical instead of physical deletes.

Because we're not able to just re-write OpenCart how we see fit?

What did you mean? A custom modification just for one store?
