hello,

i think this issue has been addressed before after googling it but not satisfactorily enough for my liking.

I am trying to display all sub category products within a parent category listing. i.e. all sub category products automatically show up collectively in the parent.

I was trying to walk back where i am going wrong by looking at the demo site
https://demo.opencart.com/index.php?rou ... ry&path=20
which shows a total 13 products under Desktops but the product listing only shows 12 products therefore why can't all 13 products show. I know this is possible in 1.5.6.4.? There was some code changes needed at the time namely 'filter_sub_category' => true but this is already present in 3.0 . in the controller category page.

Why should the figure wrong at the demo page?
It shows exactly 12 products not assigned to the PC group.
And 1 more (Mac).
In summary 13 - which is correct.

Because all are assigned to the desktop category.

i am asking why the Desktop category product grid doesn't show all 13 products instead of 12.

12 products + 1 (empty) sub-category
