I am currently working in AMPSS local host and building a new OC store.
When I tried to upload a new theme, I get the following message:-
"SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data
OK
<br />
<b>Warning</b>: POST Content-Length of 9443485 bytes exceeds the limit of 8388608 bytes in <b>Unknown</b> on line <b>0</b><br />
{"error":"File could not be uploaded!"}
I am presuming it has something to do with max file size but this is currently set at 128mb.
Any thoughts please would be much appreciated as always.

Hi there - very sorry for the late response.So far any luck winter?
I just missed your post - apologies.
No - I had no luck.
What I did was a fresh install of OC in AMPSS using the template installation instructions and unpacking the quickstart zip file that came with the template. I then just went through the normal process of setting up the database in PHPMyAdmin, installing open cart using the quickstart installation method, unpacked the template files and installed the template as per the steps below:-
Step 1 - Create a folder in htdocs folder for Xampp, www folder for Wamp
Step 2 - Unpack the Quickstart package then copy all the files and folders to the new created folder.
Step 3 - Create database: You can create a database in your hosting provider's control panel, for example cPanel. It may also be possible to do so in phpMyAdmin. Remember to take note of the details that you use as you'll need them for the next step.
Step 4 - Auto - installer: The final step is to run the auto-installer. Open your favourite web browser and add “/install” to the end of your site's website address. When doing this you should see with the following page:
Bit annoying still that it wouldn't accept a larger file.
I hope this helps.
I then just went through the normal process of installing, setting up DB etc.

I didn't need to upload the large file.
But it was a workaround rather than a fix so yes - you are correct in that.
