Problem with Contact Us - Customer does not receive confirmation email

Hi there

I hope somebody can help me.

It appears that when somebody uses the Contact Us page - they do not receive a confirmation email from admin.

Admin does get the enquiry

Can anybody help me please

What are your mail settings?

Not sure what you mean by mail settings - I'm a real newbie.

Sending confirmation emails when order is placed works so I assume the mail settings are correct

Check your error log. Ask your hosting company if there is any spam filter blocking from receiving those email notifications.

Open this file => system/library/mail.php
Search for :
echo $header .= 'From: ' . '=?UTF-8?B?' . base64_encode($this->sender) . '?=' . '<' . $this->from . '>' . $this->newline;

Replace with:
$header .= 'From: ' . $this->sender . ' <' . $this->from . '>' . $this->newline;

Not confirm but hit a try.
