How do you all update stock especially products that have options? There seem to be no extensions that can do a simple stock update from either XML or CSV file on products that have options.
Ideally we want a situation where a cron job will check a CSV or XML stock update at a given URL and then update the database quantities for each product including products that have options. We have looked at and tried a few extensions and none of them can do this.

Your objective involves a custom job to be done on your server in order to create a cron task. I would suggest posting in the Commercial Support section of the forum in order to get this done as a custom job.
