test if admin is logged in

I'm writing who's online code that at the moment lists all registered users online but i can't work out how to display to everyone when admin is online ?
I can make it dispaly admin but it only shows to me and no one else that looks at that page.
How do i test for admin being online ?
Any help would be appreciated.
