quickfix :
add index fulltext in product_description -> tag.

OPENCART MODULE :
Opencart Compare Link VQMOD, Link your compared product to forum/email

Copy and DIRECTLY Edit Product, the easy way.

Custom Product Sort, Full control to product sorting options

OK... If no one can answer this then I will have to...

1. Open phpmyadmin
2. Select your Opencart database
3. Click on oc_product_description in the table list on the left
4. Click on the SQL tab at the top so that you can execute a SQL command.
5. Delete everything in the query box... it may have this in it: SELECT * FROM `oc_product_description` WHERE 1
6. Enter this command: ALTER TABLE `oc_product_description` ADD FULLTEXT (`tag`);

All Sorted and working again.

If you add this line as above: ALTER TABLE `oc_product_description` ADD FULLTEXT (`description`);

You can search for text in the product description too.

Cheers

BionicBill, double-check whether you're adding or not adding a prefix xx_ to product_description. Whether you have or need a prefix depends upon the exact name of your own specific database. Often a prefix is used to allow several uses of one database; when you're allowed several, they can be separately named and don't really need prefixes (which can still be useful for your own recognition of what's which).

And in phpMyAdmin when you edit or query it's imperative to proofread carefully before you punch Enter/Go/whatever.

You rock indeed! It worked for me as well (mine is just `product_description`). Thanks a lot!
