Image Manager causing host company to ban my IP

Hey everyone.

So my problem is that hosting servers are banning my IP address while I'm using the Image Manager. This happens every time without fail.

Some other people have issues but no fixes yet, has there been any progress on this?

This is a known but/issue with certain versions of OpenCart, what version are you using ?

I'm on the latest version.

A quick fix was to re-organise all my product photos into individual folders, no more than 12-15 photos per folder.

This is because the standart image manager, make many requests in order to show you all the image thumbnails in the current directory. This means, if you have 10000 products, there will be 10000 http queries for getting image thumbnails.

You can try my Power Image Manager , which doesn't load all the images at once, but page by page when you scroll down.
I cannot guarantee, that this will not cause you to be banned again, but it will reduce the http queries on the image manager initial phase.
