Search Function Not Working

Hello! I'm using OC 1.5.4.1 and I'm still a bit away from making my site live.. However, there is one problem that is really bugging me and I can't figure it out!

The search function doesn't work. I can't hit enter, I can't hit the search button. Nothing happens when I do either. I get the same issue with many different templates and the default as well.

Anyone know what it could be?

Sounds like a javascript error if the "enter" key isn't working, or an element that is above the search button if that doesn't work. Check your browser error console for javascript errors, and if you know how, use the browser's element inspector to see if anything has a z-index higher than the search button.

If you have a link to your store, you should post it so people can see a live example.

I actually had to reinstall for a different reason.. search is working now. Unfortunately, I now have bigger problems. \
