I did some looking through the forum, found a few threads about it, but they didn't fix the problem. I can log in to the store, but when I click checkout I get the Content Encoding Error. I'm using 1.3.3. I tried adding the zlip.output_compression = On to the php.ini file but that didn't work. Any advice?

Thanks

Hi,
I get the same error with OC 1.4.0 in FF (Chrome and Opera are OK) when I go to step 2 of the checkout (when I fill the Guest Checkout - Step 1 form and validate).

Does anyone have a clue about why that might happen?

This error is usually caused from the Compression/Encoding being set too high. Try reducing the level set in: Admin -> System -> Settings
Output Compression Level:
GZIP for more efficient transfer to requesting clients. Compression level must be between 0 - 9
