System -> Design -> Banners won't save

Hi I am new to Opencart and not a technical person, please help with my problem.

I am using 1.5.4, adding a banner there on System -> Design -> Banners but cannot save. It just loads into a blank screen. All other functions are saving ok. What is happening?

Hi,

Make sure your image\data folder is writeable on your host.

Could be that you do not have permission to write files into this folder.

Are you seeing an error if you inspect the page? What browser are you using?

If your using chrome, you can right click on the page and select Inspect Page.

A screen will appear at the bottom of your browser window and if you click the Console tab you should see any errors listed. Also check the bottom right of this screen for a small red icon with a number in it. If you see this, click it and it will show you where the error is occurring.
