Bulk import of digital products.

After endlessly searching for a bulk import extension solution I decided to come here.

We sell tunes mostly,
Every extension we tried you still have to manually add each download to its record label,
Ideally we want a CSV or XLS sheet to edit/import, this sheet though should also include the .zip/mp3 details for download, description etc...

Everything we tried did not support batch/bulk for digital products, enough support hardware though,
There is even a free import/export xls tool that looks great, but again, not enough parameters for the digital.
A few commercial extensions, but they don't even support digital products.

Perhaps I missed something though?
Anyone know of any extension that could do the job?, although I searched for AGES...days, literally.

I posted in the commercial forum also, we don't mind paying something reasonable.

Many thanks.

FIRST STEP:
There are a few import tools that allow you to create your own fields.
With the digital goods the issue is that there needs to be a special ID tied to each zipped digital file. By manually uploading these files in the admin it creates just that. Obviously this is not what you want. All you need to do is use an import tool that gives you the freedom to create these fields in the XLS.
Attached is the image of the two tables you are dealing with. In your XLS just make sure to make room for the fields.

note:
You are going to want to create a random string for the field "filename" in the table "download"
Example: test.png.f515fe85af585180e98a12cef8a8db6c
The code uses a mask to make sure the downloads cannot be accesed directly.

NEXT STEP:
Upload all the files directly from FTP to the downloads folder. Obviously you will have to make sure that the file names match up with what you have in the XLS.

Thanks ever so much for that mate,
We need it for production, not one off, and an excel friendly way of doing it,
We commissioned somebody here on the forums and got it sorted.

Thanks again tho!!! :)

Any help would be great
