I have iDevAffiliate loaded on my website and I was needing to integrate tracking with my OpenCart installation.

The options available are:
  • Option 1: Hidden Image Tag Version
Place provided code into your "sale confirmation" page.

    Option 2: JavaScript Version
Place provided code into your "sale confirmation" page.

Option 3: 3rd Party Affiliate Call
Place provided code if you have a designated area for 3rd party affiliate programs.
Note: This style is usually used within the admin center of your shopping cart system.
I did not see anything in the admin section that would let Option 3 be the choice.

I am assuming that I need to go with Option 1, but I wanted to check if this is the best choice and to find out where (which page) I should place the tracking code.

Make sure you're upgraded to the latest iDevaffiliate, ends in .04. OpenCart will now be an option in the integration wizard. Follow the instructions. There is a glitch though - in the code it gives you if it says idev_saleamt=$arr_order[value] , change value to total. This should be fixed in upcoming idev releases but was a misprint this time around.

Should work like gravy.
