Cant install new skins

I Just did a fresh install of open cart latest version.

I upload skins
go to admin to change the skin
when i select the new skin from the drop down instead of a skin thumbnail I am seeing an admin login box.

In short every time I try to change the skin from default I am being logged out of admin. Any ideas anyone?

Tried re-installing several time.

Please PM me with admin login info and ftp details and i will fix it for you
