Hi,
First of all thanks everyone who has helped me with my previous problems. :)
Now i seem to have a problem adding products.
If i edit existing products on the default template that's fine, the changes take place.
However if I press insert to add a new product the boxes come up but nothing I enter saves.
If i try and add an image its the same.
What am i doing wrong?

you need to update parts of your template.

I recommend switiching to your default and manually change the template back to your new one.

Hi - give the following couple of suggestions a shot:

I had a small problem upfront where certain info in the settings were not "taking" I managed a solution in 2 steps:

First check your folders against the information (readme.txt) about what permissions need to be applied to which folder/files. Double check that all the permissions sit at 755.

Once you have the above organised (and this is something that can be peculiar to a shared server more than rather than a dedicated server) check also that any of your admin and category, in fact all folders and files are actually "owned" by you (sometimes for what reason I have no idea Apache gains access of some folders/files in a structure) you may need to speak to your hosting providers (if this is the case).

Other than the above I cannot make suggestions - am a little tired its late here in Aussie so apologies if the info is a little disjointed, but hopefully helps along the way.

Cheers

This thread has gone wrong from the start.

First what are you talking about?
Adding new products has nothing to do with templates.

Are you "Inserting" products from the admin page? or adding products to your cart on the frontend?
