I need to enter a Google conversion tracking code the keeps track of purchases. I need to enter the code on a single specific page where a person would be taken after or just before a purchase is made so I can track it as this tracking just covers when a purchase is made. Can someone tell me where and how to place that code? Thanks for any help.

Open the following file:
/catalog/view/theme/default/template/checkout/confirm.tpl
Lob the code in the bottom and then save it.
Run a test transaction through your site to verify it works correctly.

Except I can do it without spending $14.95 by just dropping in some code.
Thank you moggiex, works fine.

well it will sort of work the way you did it, however you may get quite a few conversions recorded that are not really sales. because people can easily leave the site from the confirm page, or they may decide to edit the address or add something else to their order then you'll have multiple conversions listed at google for the same transaction.LadyRagefist wrote:Except I can do it without spending $14.95 by just dropping in some code.
