Hi All,

I am trying to run GWO AB split tests on my OC 1.47 store. I understand its an old version of OC but I cannot upgrade it at this time. Here is what I am facing.

I have created a few variations of the index.php file, along with other corresponding files and controllers to give me three additional versions of my homepage for AB testing.

http://www.office-bargains.com
http://www.office-bargains.com/indexa.php
http://www.office-bargains.com/indexb.php
http://www.office-bargains.com/indexc.php

Without the google split test turned on, everything works as expected. Each of the links off any of the home pages will work. The minute I turn on the google tests, the links fail. and 'redirect' me back to the index page they came from.

For example, if google ab testing points me to http://www.office-bargains.com/indexa.php , and I click on http://www.office-bargains.com/seating in the navigation, it looks like I am being redirected back to indexa.php

We are using SEO urls which I am beginning to think could be the culprit.

This is my first experience with GWO and OC, and I am starting to wonder if its not possible with the index page.

In the google settings you have to set your original page, and then your variations.
We are setting http://www.office-bargains.com/index.php as the original, and the variations as
http://www.office-bargains.com/indexa.php
http://www.office-bargains.com/indexb.php
http://www.office-bargains.com/indexc.php

I am hoping one you experts may be able to shed some light on what is going on here.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

I haven't solved the problem, however I have found a temp solution.
I have removed the use of SEO urls for the three new index pages.
I have the test running and it seems to be working.

Can Anyone suggest how I might make it work with the SEO urls?

So apparently changing just the SEO urls on the three variations of index pages did not completely fix this issue.

If I go through any of the links on one of the indexes, lets say http://www.office-bargains.com/indexa.php

and click on The Big Brown button halfway down the page, New Furniture, http://www.office-bargains.com/index.ph ... egory_id=0

I go into the site, now if I click on one of the SEO friendly urls like http://www.office-bargains.com/seating it will work.

AS long as I have the google AB split test turned off. I turn on the split testing and it fails, and will take me back to
http://www.office-bargains.com/indexa.php ???

It appears to be google code related. Anyone have any suggestions?

thanks!

Why not try a different approach by modifying the home controller to check to see which template to use ?

I have made a test-site: http://test.miraca.dk

If you see the page, where content just says 'Hej' - You see variant 1 of the page... - If you have trouble seeing it, try using Chromes 'Incognito browsing', and open the page again.

Now,, WHEN you see variant 1 of the page, the links don't work... When you see normal page, seo-links work...

IF i disable SEO-URL, the links work on both pages!!
