Multiple alternative product numbers for a product

I am going to be selling replacement parts that can replace many different part numbers. Is there a way to link lots of part numbers to any single product so that when someone searches for their part number, it will return with this single part that can replace it. Hopefully that makes sense! A way to cross reference a part number is what I am after.

you coul insert them all at tags and that solves your search part and display part.

You could also set this up using attributes.
