I am testing purchase process on my trial OC, but I can not see input of Credit-card (cash only).

What option allows buyer uses credit-card?

Thanks.

PayPal standard is included with the default OpenCart installation, and can accept credit cards. The customer will be transferred to the PayPal site to pay, though.

If you want to accept credit cards on your site, I recommend Stripe, which costs the same as PayPal standard and allows you to accept cards directly on your site. I have a payment gateway available for it here:

If you want to take the credit card number and process it offline using your own method, Qphoria has an Offline Credit Card module available here:

Hi Johnathan,

I need more info about Stripe.
1. Is it outside or inside my OC? - I know it is on my site.
2. Does it cost $... on every money transaction, or for buying Stripe, or both?

Thanks.

You can sign up for Stripe by clicking the link above. It costs 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction, the same as PayPal. I believe it's only in the U.S. at the moment.

You have to purchase the Stripe Payment Gateway from my site (or the OpenCart store), but once you do, it lets you take credit card payments in OpenCart, and they will be processed through Stripe.

There are a bunch of different credit card processors if you want to sign up for a different one. You can search for them in the extension store, but usually it's better to pick your processor first and then find the payment gateway for it.
