Can you explain why you need both apps in the same folder please?
Just trying to add a cms because under the same folder there are way to many html pages that need to be inserted into a database. And trying to keep the same url structure without having to do 301 redirects.

Hmm I see. To be honest, I'm not sure if the redirect method you suggested would actually work, and as Renato mentioned, it might just be easier to change the CMS's index.php
