Multiple categories

Hi,

I was wondering how to get multiple categories.

I looked and i only found 1.4.x extensions so i guess it should be already in 1.5.3 Besides something so simple i think is standard

To be clear i want the categories to sort like this:

Category

• Category A
o Subproduct a1
o Subproduct ac
• Category B
o Subproduct b1
o Subproduct b2
o etc


Gifts

• For her
• For him
• Birthday
• Easter
• New home
• Valentine
• Cristmas
• Sorry
• Graduation

Price range

0,00 – 24,99
25,00 – 49.99
50,00 – 99.99
99,00 – 149.99
150,00 – 199.99
200 – No max

It would be best if i add the categories. Then be able to select if i want a certain item to be placed in 1 or more categories. Price range should be automatically as all products have price.

If i have to add then manually to each category it would be ok to but this would be better

I've install the module split categories (I find it odd to have to pay for the fundamental basics of functionality but i guess that's the business model of this software)

When i follow your install instructions i get the error message "Notice: Error: Could not load language module/split_category! in /var/www/html/webwinkel/system/library/language.php on line 26" when i go to 'extensions -> module to install the module. I cannot access this module at all anymore. I have dutch languange installed to i guess i need to add something to the dutch languange but which one where?

Nevermind got it. I copied the english files in the same folder to 'dutch'. Now it works.

I installed it now. However when i click 'Module toevoegen' nothing happend. No error, no hourglass no nothing...

Reinstalled, double checked everything. Even tried in another browser.... It's not working
