Due to the complexity of some of our products I use Categories like search filters to gradually drill down the options to select the correct product.

The problem I face is some Category Titles are very long, such is the nature of the information I need to convey to customers. I'm sure purists and coders will tell me there are much better ways to do this, and I'm all ears :)

However, the net result is that the Categories Title is all bunched up instead of flowing nicely across the screen. Is there a way to alter the way these format to make them display more cleanly.

Image attached to show what I mean.

TIA

Open your stylesheet

Code: Select all

catalog/view/theme/twparts/stylesheet/stylesheet.css
On line 751, remove this line

Code: Select all

	width: 18%;
and save. That should do it

Hi - thanks for above info, on latest version of OC - need to get width of categories wider, removed as above but hasn't made any difference?

Am I doing something wrong???

It should be the same, are you sure its the default stylesheet you're editing and using on the store?

Hi - yep defo - just edited fields and made them not so wordy so all is ok.

As a note, did as above again and made no difference, very weird.
