SEO URLS , i don't understand a part .[SOLVED]

If your opencart installation does not run on the main web folder make sure you folder it does run in ie. / becomes /shop/

my opencart installation runs in /shop and when i turn on the seo urls, my links are not working anymore, can anyone please tell me how to set it up that my seo urls are working?
i am using opencart 1.502

i did activate the .htaccess

edit .htaccess

find the line that reads

RewriteBase /

change it to read

RewriteBase /shop/
