Hello,
1. How to add email field to review form? I'd like to answer on reviews if user has a problem.
2. How to turn on email notifications when user posted new review? Right now I'm refreshing reviews page from time to time looking for new reviews. I'd like to get emails about new reviews. Also its good idea to auto-approve reviews.

1. reviews can only be left by registered users, so you get their email address
2. search extension store for admin email alerts
2. search extension store for admin email alerts
My apologies, I had it in my mind that only registered users could leave a review
You will need to edit a few files to achieve this.
Leave it with me and I will post back with some code for it (probably this evening now as I have a bit to do)

Any user can leave a review (registered or not) but they get held in the 'awaiting approval' queue so you can pick them up from the dashboard and approve/moderate/decline them.
UKSB may be being modest and holding back... but try this extension http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... order=DESC

looks like you have added modules with the layout set as default
Here's what to do
1. Go to System - Design - Layouts and create a new layout called search with the route set as product/search
2. Edit your modules and change the layout from 'default' to 'home'
3. If you want modules on the search page, you can now also add modules to the new search layout and set position to content bottom - That way modules will appear below search results

Your sample should help me a lot! Thanks. I'm trying to understand how things work and edit it myself.uksitebuilder wrote:My apologies, I had it in my mind that only registered users could leave a review

I didn't see any code about the original question - adding an email field on the review form? I also want to do this so I can pull a random winner from reviewers and need their email to contact them if they win.
Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.
i just picked up your admin email alert mod, it's working great. however i'l love to grab the code for adding an email address to the review field
