i am testing this in both stores:
store 1: http://www.opencartstuff.com/oc15/index ... ommon/home
store 2: http://www.opencartstuff.com/oc15/jewel ... ommon/home

steps i have done:
1- click add to cart for an available product (iPod Touch).
2- notice the cart in header is updated correctly.
3- expand the cart in header and click "Checkout".

what happened was:
store 1: cleared the cart and showed empty shopping cart page "Your shopping cart is empty!"
store 2: checks out fine

i am using same theme (only minor header/footer/stylesheet changes) for both stores.
store 1 opencart version is: 1.5.1
store 2 opencart version is: 1.5.1.3

knowing that the empty cart issue used to happen in site 2 as well but stopped and now its fine.

is it related to theme, session, bug or any other thing?

Well so far it seams like in internet explorer, there is no $_COOKIE at all, it should have at least the cookie for PHPSESSID
that's so far, any ideas will help.

Similar problem. SSL installed. Turn SSL off and is ok.

Checkout redirect back to cart but items are still there.

IE9 is ok but happens in FireFox and Chrome.

Yes thanks.

Working in IE9, FF and Chrome.

Also logging into admin was an issue, so all sorted.

Next challenge is to add a GPRS printer to take orders in shop. That could be tricky.
