How to add a message box

Hi,

How can I add a message box that will popup when someone tries to add an item to the cart? It needs to have a short message with the option to continue or cancel.

Does anyone know how? And I only need it to work with specific products.

Yeah... i can see how... but you will have to do a bit of recoding... but i can't really see how to make it only work with some products without a lot of thinking...

Hang on... actually... it might not be as hard as i was originally thinking... you might be able to have an extra field in the product page in admin in which you put in a message... this message is saved to the database...

and when you view a product page it checks the database and looks for the new table (i.e. product_message) and then if it is empty it just show like normal... otherwise it makes the button run a pop up which then has an add to cart...

I would have to think for a while about the atcual coding though...

I also would like to add this message box that will popup every time we click 'add to cart ' button to ALL products.
or similar to this topic http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?t=43156 but it will pop up regardless when customer was logged in or NOT. I am currently using latest Version 1.5.2.1.

Please I have created a book sotre mo which adds about 11 fields to the product page and they will only display if they have data in them... but i am just thinking about how to change to a pop up... please provide me with a screen shot of what you want and i'll se if i can do it

If you want it with a simple message (just like http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?t=43156) it shouldn't be to hard... infact i no exactly how i could do it... it would have to be a paid service though... as the mod that i have created is soon going to be sold (a bookstore mod) and it is the basic part of that...
