Regarding open cart currency with seo mod incompatibilty, I've got similar problem with 1.5.3 and found answer at forum threads
- you could try changing catalog/controller/module/currency.php first two lines :

Code: Select all

class ControllerModuleCurrency extends Controller {
	public function index()
Please post your tryouts with other versions

I also am having trouble with the currency changer not working properly.

Here is the site: http://www.admarneuro.com/shop

I have tried n381 idea of changing the php to "public" but it didn't have an affect.

Anyone else have this issue?

Ask your template-seller, this is not an OpenCart issue.

I did switch it to the default template but it still does not function properly.

If it is on Dollar and I click to switch it to Euros then the shopping cart total switches to Euros.
If I then click the Dollar it does not switch back to dollar.
If I then click on the total amount it does at that point switch back to Dollar.

UPDATE: I have confirmed that it is a caching issue. I am using OC via MijoShop on Joomla 3. When I disabled the Joomla cache plugin, the currency changes as it should. (PS this was also the issue with the quantity not updating)

Is this an original Opencart or a Fork (modified OpenCart) used for Joomla?

I am not sure. Here is their site: http://mijosoft.com/joomla-extensions/m ... pping-cart

They state "It's a native Joomla component (not bridge/iframe) and OpenCart is inside"

You'll need to contact Mijoshop for support.
