Order Number on Success page

Im new to this cart and have quickly fallen in love with it! Great job on it!

I've got 4 sites using the cart now, some very hacked up (one product sites). But all of them I need to get the Order Number on the success template page. How can we do this? I found a way in 1.4x but not 1.5.x

Any help would be appreciated.

Should be easy to convert it to 1.5.1

Hi guys

I will be also interested in a similar solution as it will solve one of my problems which is for bank transfer payments having to ask customers to go and look in the order history after placed to write the given order number in the transfer details

with this at work at least the customer can take note of the bank account number to transfer the sum to and the order number in (almost) one go

Integrated it to my local language folder (non-vqmod) with my own translation of course and it´s working ok with maansy´s small correction, thks

I've updated the vQmod to include the fixes mentioned above by Maansy. I've also added the Invoice number.

That's all you should need to do for any vQmod .xml file, that is, upload it to your server into the vqmod/xml folder. There is no "installation procedure".

It displays a message on the checkout success page providing the customer with the order ID and the invoice number. This is the page the customer is returned to upon successful completion of their purchase. You can't just "load" the page and expect to see it, you have to go through "due process" by making a purchase.
