I just upgraded from 1.4.9.4 to 1.5.1.
Quite a big change to say the least.
Can anyone tell me how to use the "Layouts" feature?
Also, I notice things are slightly different with 1.5.1 - the welcome message keeps displaying even when I click to a product page, which doesn't happen in the past. Now how do I get around this and keep the welcome message (mine being a whole chunk of text) from displaying in product pages?
Did you figure out how to stop the welcome message from appearing on all pages? I am having the same problem.
I followed that guide the problem is when I set the home page up to not show on categorie pages then I don't have the categories in the side box on the home page.
To have the welcome message on just the home page i have set
Welcome Module:
Layout: Home
Category Module:
Layout: Home AND Default
This shows the welcome module on only my homepage and the category module on all pages. (If you remove Home Layout then the categories box disappears from the homepage)
Can you confirm what layouts you have set for the Category module?
