hi, I know RSS feed is good to have on a website, so wanted to put it on mine. I've found the RSS extension on here (http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... on_id=2814) and dropped all the files in to the relevant folders on the server. It doesn't seem to be appearing when I login to my admin. The RSS option is under Modules, but when I install it, and click edit the screen is blank? Not sure if I've installed it properly. Thanks

You should check the compatibility of extensions/modules before you download/install

Hi, still on the learning curve so bare with me!..

I've now got an RSS feed on my site, I've downloaded one of the free extensions from here (http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... order=DESC), and have set it to appear at the top of the site. Its asking for a 'RRS url', what do I put here? Cheers!

That extension is for display an rss feed from another site

If you had a separate blog site etc, you could grab the RSS Feed URL from there and paste it into this mod.

It will then show your recent blog posts on your OC store

Ahhh right thanks. So effectively I'd need an a different RSS feed for my own site, that would show new products, updates etc? Can you suggest any? Thanks

Now that my Google Merchant feed extension is updated (alas it took longer than anticipated), I should be free(ish) over the next week or so to work on this and will update this post when it is done.
