Changing the maximum weight of an item

Hi there.

I was wondering if and where in the code I can change the maximum weight listing of an item to exceed the number "999.99". For example if I have a piece of machinery listed and the weight is approx. 1350 lbs I would like it to show that. Instead, it presently caps out at the above "999" number.

I dont want to convert my weights to tons because a listing of "0.675 tons" is not what I prefer to convey for my prospective clients.
