Newbie here can anyone tell me how you flag a product to be featured on the home page in the latest version???

in the admin under extensions -> modules edit the featured module that's where you choose the products.

Choose from what??? There is no drop down no mention of any products are the users expected to start copying and pasting Urls??

the products should be listed in the drop down, thats of course if you have added products to your database.

This is a test install we added a product previously it is in stock but there is still no drop down to mark it featured, maybe this post needs moving to the bugs section for the new version.

actually your right, there is no drop down, i forgot, its more like an auto complete input box, reason being, if you have thousands of products the drop down would be massive.

What you have to do, is start typing the product name, and the product will appear in the list, where you can click to select it.

Ok think I will buy a mod then that really isnt very user friendly. The option to feature a product on most carts is selected when adding the product makes more sense rather than users having to perform an edit function after adding.
