Hi guys,

Can anybody help me with the follosing issue, pelase?

I installed the latest version OpenCart v1.4.9.3 on my web site.

In the site Admin, when I insert a new product in the very first tab "General" there is a textarea for product Description.

For some reason this textarea is so small box. It ussed to be much larger and with so many buttons to edit inserted information as Bold, Italik, Undeline, Link, Text size, etc.

Is this a bug? Does anybody know if there is any updates availale to fix this?

Thank you everybody!!!

I had this problem as well when I installed v1.4.9.1.

I did this: http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=121&t=22672

It changes the default editor to TinyMCE (which I'm not always a fan of), but at least it works.

I heart cmd-f, cmd-c, cmd-v, cmd-z + vQmod.

Did you try in another browser? Chrome or Firefox? Somehow IE behaves strangely.

For me, I was/am using Safari.

Funny thing is, now the default editor does show up on some pages, along with TinyMCE. Doesn't really bother me so I haven't looked at fixing it.

I heart cmd-f, cmd-c, cmd-v, cmd-z + vQmod.

I just removed the TinyMCE script from my footer.tpl file (as per the other thread), and the default editor is now working.

ciupac: try clearing the cache on your browser. not sure if this will help but it does seem to be the fix for certain issues.

I heart cmd-f, cmd-c, cmd-v, cmd-z + vQmod.

Hi guys,

I tried everything.

It looks like WYSIWYG editor is disabled somewhere.

Can't find any other threads with the fix.

Any other ideas how to fix it?

Thanks!

Yes I did.
I didn't try to upload from previous versions yet.
But I don't think it will make a difference.
It looks like it is turned off somewhere in simple mode.

Don't know. I don't really want to downgrade it to previous version.

Thank you!
