"Ask for Availability" Button

Hello!

I was wondering if it's possible to add a Link in the product page near or after the "Product Availability", for some products that are in "availability to be verified" status, that reaches a mail-form where customers can write their e-mail address, and send it to store owner, before making an order..... :-\ It could be just a link to the Contact Us form, but I'd like the Model ID to be auto-incorporated to the subject of message.

I'm not an expert.... How could I do that?

Sorry for my English, I'm Swiss :p

Thanks a lot for any help.

F. :joker:

I've done this as well. Basically add some options on the contact page to read from GET or POST variables
Then on the product page, add a button or link with some variables from that page (name, product id, model, etc) and when you click it, it sends the data to the contact us page with the subject/message lines pre-filled

For a more elegant option, you could use Fido-x's new "Make an Offer" mod and change the form fields as needed
