Remove price from search results

Hi all
I am using version 1.5.6.4
I was able to hide price throughout the store except in search results. I have tried many things but it didnt work. Search results show $0 . Kindly suggest

Why are you looking to hide the price?

if you want to hide price, just set your store to catalog mode in admin

What is the main reason to hide prices? Is it something technically beneficial (SEO) or the reason is other?
