404 "Page Not Found" keeps coming up

I have been up all night trying to get my my open cart front pages to work.... To every time i have clicked any link on my front of my online store a 404 "Page Not Found" keeps coming up. I have run out of ideas that could be causing that. Can anyone here help me correct this problem?

you have seo urls turned on and either
1) your server doesn't have mod_rewrite enabled and configured properly
2) you haven't renamed .htaccess.txt to .htaccess
3) your store is in a subfolder like domain.com/store/ and you didn't change RewriteBase / to RewriteBase /store/ in the .htaccess file.
4) you aren't using apache as the web server and I can't help you.

ok cool thanks dude it was the .htaccess file that i forgot to change thanks alot

Hey Xsecrets ...could your answer above go into the FAQs/troubeshooting section of the documentation? This question has cropped up a few times now, and your answer covers all bases pretty neatly.
