Hey there.
I'm really interested in using OpenCart for a number of projects. I've been using Shopp, which is a WordPress plugin that has failed me on too many occasions - and their support forum is very inactive - annoying.
Now, the first project I'd consider using Open Cart for sells both virtual and physical products. I presume that you can disable address requirement globally, and then just enable it per physical product, so that customers purchasing virtual products don't need to enter their shipping information?
Also - some of the downloadable products are rather large, and therefore exceed my PHP_MAX_UPLOAD size. Is there a way of FTP uploading the files and then providing a filepath within Open Cart so that the tokens are still applied for security?
Many thanks.
1. Yes you can disable shipping address capture per product by setting "Requires Shipping" to no
2. Currently to only way to upload large files via ftp is to use the Download Auto-insert mod.
