Should not the homepage be separated from the database? - Would this make sense as to load time? The homepage is what a customer sees and judges the merit of your site on - There are so many CSS solutions and non Java/Jquery Ways of going about the same thing - OC - needs to conglomerate it's Java and Css into two files only as far as I can see it instead of server intensive stuff
Even with 20 products - Images are slow to show
