Error Log Displaying TPL Entries

My systems/log/error.txt file has the following entries in it:

Code: Select all

2016-08-17 20:58:48 - PHP Notice: Undefined index: sku in /home/CLIENTUSERREMOVED/public_html/catalog/view/theme/default/template/common/home.tpl on line 26
2016-08-17 20:58:48 - PHP Notice: Undefined index: sku in /home/CLIENTUSERREMOVED/public_html/catalog/view/theme/default/template/module/bestseller.tpl on line 13
I have replaced the clients virtual hosting account name with 'CLIENTUSERREMOVED'.

Any idea what these entries mean and can such entries cause products to disappear as I have noticed random products disappearing from the frontend and the backend of my OpenCart.

This means that the "sku" variable is not defined properly in the:
- "common/home" controller
- "module/bestseller" controller

Just check in the above files if the "sku" variable is correctly defined.

Sorry but how would I know if it is correctly defined? Is there a piece of code that shows everything to be correctly defined?

sure, there is, it's called SKU. Someone has included it, as Extension, I assume, and now, it just will not show up,
by the Server-attempt, to probably present the Product SKU-Value in the bestseller.tpl Module on the home.tpl Page. But you talk about a Client, so, you better solve his problems, or then, get DEV Support, if you really still have no idea, what this means.

No offense, nothing personal ! ;)
