Hi,

We have noticed that when a customer uses a discount voucher it is incorrctly giving free shipping, the total is going below the free delivery total

As an example, we offer free shiping on orders over £44.99.
The customer purchases a product for 45.00 and then uses a discount voucher for £15.01 but the store is giving away free shipping, when it shouldnt.

How would I fix this?

Thanks
G

Its about the order of totals in admin > extension > totals. If you want voucher or coupon before shipping, set a lower sort order number.

Note: the built-in Free Shipping only uses the cart's sub-total, it doesn't factor in other Order Total line items for comparison. To do that, you could get something like Total-Based Shipping, which can base its total comparisons on the exact total at the point of the "Shipping" line item.

Feel free to take a look at the screenshots and demo site, and if you're interested let me know at www.getclearthinking.com/contact if you have any further questions.
