So, I noticed in my root folder an error_log that was massive. I deleted it and it started to grow again.
I downloaded it and the error entries are:

[11-Jun-2015 14:37:09 UTC] PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20100525/pdo.so' - /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20100525/pdo.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

[11-Jun-2015 14:37:09 UTC] PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20100525/pdo_mysql.so' - /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20100525/pdo_mysql.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

over and over again.
Any ideas on how to remedy this?

You should contact your Hoster, after you disabled all VqMod's and Moduls, and check, if it still exists.
If not, enable your Mod's, one after the other, until it fails...
Then, you'll know, at least, that it's not a Server fault.

Hi,

Thank you for the suggestion.
Question:

My live store is on a hostgator VPS.
I have a copy of the store on a shared hosting server (also hostgator) for testing purposes
I noticed on the shared server copy the error log does not appear.

So, is it safe to assume it's a VPS server issue and not the store mods?

It looks like pdo is not installed on your vps. You can probably use easyapache to compile it in, assuming you have whm and root access.

Reason: OpenCart version 3+ ;D

Thanks!

Hi,
Thank you. I messaged my host and they managed to fix it. The error log file was growing to about 14gigs!

Thanks again!

Wow, 14GB! Good thing you were able to spot it earlier. :)
