manufacturer dropdown

Hi

I am trying to add a dropdown of manufacturers in my header.tpl file but can't work it out, each time I try I get undefined errors but am adding in the coding in the controller file and language file

I don't want it in the nav menu I want it next to it or above it

Can anyone help please

We have this mod although we don't use it anymore. http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... on_id=4935

Although it was made for 1.5.1.3 it works on 1.5.5.1, and if you have any other mods that give alternative positions could work a treat.

PLEASE NOTE: We have just tried this module again for old times sake and it throws up 404 Not Found now we have SEO titles so would probably need editing to work.
