I have reports that telling me that customers using Windows 7 + IE11 cant put any products in the shopping cart. Fresh install, without modifications.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to try this myself since I'm using Windows 8. Any friend out there who want to try?

Anything that runs javascript can add to cart. Tested on windows 7 using IE11 in edge mode and add to cart works on the demo site. Also tested with IE11 document modes/emulators:
IE10 - works fine
IE9 - works fine
IE8 - works (has minor css limitations in default, somewhat major in custom sites)
IE7 - works (has minor css limitations in default, very major in custom sites)

IE6 in IE5 document mode - major script and css limitations - cart DOES NOT work. Also hangs here in index around line 471:

Object doesn't support property or method 'bgIframe'
So unless they are on IE6 from WinXP or something, the cart add should work.

Check to make sure your IE is running in the proper "Edge" mode with IE11 chosen or whatever. This is found in the inspector tools. Sometimes during testing old IE versions people forget to change it back to a modern mode.

If that is not the case, run your site with the console open and see if IE throws any errors or stops rendering the page due to a broken script.

Update

Not only add to cart button doesn''t work, also the compare and wishlist don''t work. Not only on my computer but also on my customers.

It doesnt work with all of the opencart 2.0.1.1. I have installed
