Customer Email Issue - Check Out Flow

Hello OC community,

I am finishing up my store and realized (duhhh) that default OC or theme does not come with many necessary features ( 2x Duhhh) so wanted to get some input from those who had launched on a few key issues for me and possibly identify anymore items I may be neglecting as I am having serious tunnel vision at this point. Input would be so appreciated I will come over and babysit your kids

Customer Relations Management :
1. Order Email and Email flow in general - good add on to manage email flow form order to shipment to follow up wo marketing?

2. Shipping Module ? - Have a feeling might be as part of the package for item 1?

1)Opencart email is built in. Sends when an order is placed, and (at admin's discretion) when an order status is updated.
Customer's can also be added to newsletter for marketing.

2) there are many free shipping modules included.

I think if you are looking for certain features which aren't present in your current installation, you could let us know what they are or what you are trying to do and perhaps someone can offer you some advice.
