Hi,
I'd like to have one image for the sub-category link and another in the category when the page is opened.
http://houseofurns.com/important-cremation-resources ... you can see the important resources sub-category TYPES OF URNS... if you click it, you are taken to the TYPES OF URNS page.. and it shows the same image top left. I would prefer it did not add the image to the description...(or some way to remove it) I have the bottom image I would like show in the top position but I can't figure out how.

It can't be done in standard oc. You'll need to write the mod.

I was figuring as much... any idea where to start?

This could be accomplished a few different ways. The first thing that comes to mind is to add a second category image in admin panel that is used as the thumb in a category list, then use the main image to display on the category page itself. I could write this for you, inbox me if interested.
