Hello
We are wanting to start sending our feeds to the shopping site, however as they are all asking for EAN, UPC, SKU and MPN details now, we are stuck on our admin we can add SKU and Model , but nothing else, I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a module that we can purchase that will open up these fields?

I am on version 1.5.1.3 custom theme.

Thank you Alex

I doubt that there would be a module to undo the mod that was done.

There are 2 things to look at:
1. Are the fields still in the database?
Using phpmyadmin, look at your database 'product' table. Can you see the fields there ?
If not, you need to add the fields back into the database. This can be done in phpmyadmin.
upc = varchar 12
ean = varchar 14
mpn = varchar 64

2. Download another copy of oc for your version and look at the files in admin
- controller/catalog/product.php
- model/catalog/product.php
- view/catalog/product.php

Compare your files with the original oc files and put the code back in.

If you can get a hold of the person that took the fields out, it would make your life easier.
Remember Golden Rule #1 = backup. Backup both your database and files.

Hi Alex,

Having seen your post and looked at the template files I can see your problem, OC1.5.1.3 never did support those fields by default so they are not in the Admin product form or in the database anywhere.

Not an easy fix for a beginner like me but I think you could quite simply buy this extension which will add those fields and looks to be a very comprehensive product feed extension as well, much better than the semi-working default one.

UKSB give great support as well so you should be up and running very quickly.
