I just started building a new webshop for a client based on opencart, now when all products have been added and pretty much everything is done the customer told me about Payment profiles. I can't successfully remove that, if i just hide it with css or by code it still shows as "Recurring item" when I add the product to the cart.
There is no profile set on any product.

How can I make it go away?

This might be worth a try. In the /catalog/ tree are several recurring*.php and recurring*.tpl files. The "Recurring item" display is echoed and springs from one or more of those. You might try renaming them with a leading "_" to silence the recurring*.* family (adding a trailing "_" to .php and .tpl removes them from .htaccess or other protections of normal file extensions, so use a leading one). Then if the display stops, it is cured, provided that nothing else goes haywire because of it.
